Bridging the gap between those who serve and those who are served in Panama
A program that transforms lives in Panamanian hospitality.
"Bridging the gap…" is a comprehensive program that, with the support of the Gérard Basset Foundation, aims to promote diversity, inclusion and accessibility in the world of wine, spirits and hospitality in Panama.
The initiative is designed to empower people who face multiple barriers in their professional development within the hospitality sector, giving them access to knowledge and tools that would normally be beyond their reach.
The program combines technical education through WSET Wine courses (Levels 1–3), mentoring with industry leaders, psychological support, and the design of an individual career plan. By integrating these elements, participants acquire essential knowledge and develop soft skills that they can apply in their daily work, strengthening their self-esteem, boosting their professional growth, and helping to reduce the growing gap between those who serve and those who are served in Panama.
