- Intermediate level. Starting with Level 1 is recommended but not required.

Syllabus
Theory
The WSET Level 2 course gives you a solid overview of the world of beer. In classes you learn about the main raw materials, different beer styles and the regions where they are produced. We show you how certain decisions in the brewery affect the aromas, flavors and textures of the beers we taste. We offer 24 hours of classes and recommend students review study materials at home. The course is offered in English only (international standard).
Tasting
Although blind tasting is not part of the exam, the WSET systematic tasting approach requires great attention. With the help of your WSET certified instructor, you will gradually become accustomed to this analytical way of evaluating different beers. In total we taste around 25 beer styles. You can be sure you will taste excellent and representative beers of different styles. We also pay attention to beers from the more affordable market segment.
Exam
The WSET Level 2 beer exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions. At least 28 must be answered correctly to pass. Blind beer tasting is not part of the exam at this level. The opportunity to retake the exam is offered at least twice a year.
